Welding/Fabrication

Shop and field fabrication for gates, frames, and custom metal work.

Cut, fit, and weld steel for gates, signs, and repairs. Read simple drawings, keep welds clean, and finish work that lasts outdoors.

Minimum requirements

Valid New Mexico driver license
Reliable way to get to Estancia Valley job sites
Able to work outdoors in New Mexico weather
Follow safety directions and wear required PPE

Desired qualifications

MIG and/or stick welding experience
Layout and square-up skills
Gate or structural fab background

On the application you rate knowledge and experience from 1 to 5 for each item.

Welding

MIG, stick, or both on structural steel
Layout and fit-up

Measure, square, clamp, and gap control
Metal cutting

Saw, torch, plasma, or grinder workflows
Prints and sketches

Read dimensions and build to a drawing
Shop safety

PPE, ventilation, and fire awareness
